On June 27th 2026, the New Haven Guardians, New Haven Firebirds Society, New Haven Youth and Recreation, and New Haven Youth Football presented the Annual Youth Combine at Wilbur Cross Field. Special thank you to the New Haven Steelers, to all the youth who came out to participate, and to the parents who came to support their children and each other.
On June 18th 2026, The New Haven Guardians presented Sirens and Solutions with Equity Enrichment Alliance Founder Sean Allen to provide in-depth conversations, role-playing, and experiences with the students of Wexler-Grant Community School. Special Thank you to Sean for your never ending efforts to support the inner city youth and thank you to our partners including the New Haven Fire Department, Yale Child Study Center, & New Haven Public School Staff.
On June 17th, The New Haven Guardians debuted the Annual Adulting Gauntlet at Achievement First Amistad High School, an interactive life skills competition designed to prepare high school students for the real-world challenges of adulthood through engaging, hands-on scenarios and friendly competition.
Special thank you to all of the students who participated with enthusiasm and determination. We also extend our sincere appreciation to our volunteers, judges, and community partners whose support helped make this unique program a success. Together, we are equipping the next generation with the knowledge, confidence, and critical thinking skills they need to thrive both personally and professionally.
On May 22nd, The New Haven Guardians, in partnership with the New Haven Police Department and Support from the City of New Haven, debuted SWAP AND STOP, a motor vehicle stop simulation program for the public.
Special Thank you to Mrs. Estelle Simpson for allowing us to use such a historical venue for this one-of-a-kind program. Thank you to Mayor Elicker for your support and participation and thank you to Chief Zannelli, Assistant Chief Bhagtana and Assistant Chief Ettienne for your partnership and support in this program.
On April 11th, The New Haven Guardians presented a Teen Care Class and Hygiene Kit Giveaway, hosted by The Shack.
Thank you to Renee and her team from Trachouse, Travis from Hall’s Elm City Hair Company, and Dr. Udaya from Cornell Scott Health Center for a well received and successful event. Special thank you to Alderwoman Honda Smith of The Shack for partnering and hosting and to the The Yale Child Abuse Clinic and The New Haven Firebirds for partnering to provide the much needed kits and resources that our teens need.
On March 21st, The New Haven Guardians came up to support the Westchester Rockland County Guardians Association by attending the 2026 Installation/Scholarship Dinner Dance.

On March 20th The New Haven Guardians and Pastor John Lewis from the CT Center for Non-Violence Debuted Fundamental Friday with the March Session Focusing on Critical Thinking, Problem Solving, Conflict Resolution, and Reconciliation.
Special Thank you to Pastor Lewis for supporting the movement and providing the public with the vital and essential knowledge needed to improve every day interactions with people.
On December 20th, 2025 The New Haven Guardians and The New Haven Firebirds came together once again to host its annual Toy, Hat, and Coat Giveaway at The Greater Dwight Community Room.
